Technology Container Corporation Joins Reusable Packaging Association

Arling­ton, VA, May 30, 2012 – Tech­nol­ogy Con­tainer Cor­po­ra­tion (TCC), the world’s largest cor­ru­gated plas­tic box man­u­fac­turer, has joined the Reusable Pack­ag­ing Asso­ci­a­tion to help increase its mar­ket exposure.

Located in Worces­ter, MA, TCC processes cor­ru­gated plas­tic boxes from sheet to fin­ished prod­uct in one, high speed man­u­fac­tur­ing oper­a­tion. This allows the com­pany to ser­vice very large dis­tri­b­u­tion sys­tems with time-sensitive deliv­ery sched­ules. Due to its one-step man­u­fac­tur­ing process, TCC can drive down the cost of its reusable plas­tic boxes to more afford­able lev­els mak­ing it eas­ier for cus­tomers to adopt cost-effective, sus­tain­able dis­tri­b­u­tion strategies.

“We joined the RPA because we rec­og­nize that com­pa­nies unfa­mil­iar with TCC may use the Asso­ci­a­tion as a resource for seek­ing out qual­i­fied reusable pack­ag­ing com­pa­nies such as TCC,” said Fred Dowd, Pres­i­dent, TCC. “We want to expand our mar­ket expo­sure and the RPA will help us reach poten­tial new customers.” 

TCC also joined the RPA so that it can exhibit in the Association’s Reusable Pack­ag­ing Pavil­ion at PACK EXPO in Chicago Oct. 28–31. The annual Pavil­ion draws con­sid­er­able traf­fic each year at PACK EXPO, pro­vid­ing atten­dees with a sin­gle loca­tion to learn more about reusable pack­ag­ing and how it might fit into their sus­tain­abil­ity busi­ness plans.
