Ball Corporation and Rehrig Bulk Pooling Reach National Service Agreement

The inter­est of major cor­po­ra­tions in tak­ing a strate­gic approach to trans­port pack­ag­ing con­tin­ues to grow. Case in point, Rehrig Bulk Pool­ing Ser­vices (Rehrig BPS) has reached an agree­ment with Ball Cor­po­ra­tion to pro­vide com­plete trans­port pack­ag­ing ser­vices and man­age­ment for 15 Ball bev­er­age can plants in North Amer­ica. Rehrig BPS will man­age all require­ments for han­dling and reverse logis­tics that are nec­es­sary to ser­vice and main­tain Ball’s reusable pack­ag­ing assets. Ball’s pal­lets, top frames and sep­a­ra­tor sheets, used in the stor­age and trans­port of empty metal con­tain­ers, will be recov­ered, sorted, inspected and cleaned/repaired upon return from Ball’s cus­tomers.…read more
