The Conference at PACK EXPO
Part of RPA’s mission is to provide end users with the tools and information they need to effectively utilize reusable packaging solutions throughout their supply chains. The RPA Education Committee is in the process of developing a four-part curriculum to provide the information necessary to help users in their transition to reusable solutions. As part of the Sustainability Track at the PACK EXPO Las Vegas Conference Program, the RPA will present two conference sessions on reusable packaging for the supply chain. These sessions are the result of ongoing work by the RPA Education Committee and address key issues facing reusable packaging users.
Each session is priced separately. For more information about RPA conference sessions at PACK EXPO click here.
Session One
Reusables 102 — Implementing a Sustainable Reusable Transport Packaging System
Room N-259
Monday, September 26, 2011
10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
This two-part session is the second part of a four-part curriculum under development by the Reusable Packaging Association to help end users make informed decisions about moving to reusable packaging solutions in the supply chain. Session One, Part A (10:15 — 11:15 a.m.) will introduce attendees to the reusable packaging curriculum and resources available from the RPA to help end users find reusable solutions to meet their specific transport packaging needs. This will be followed by a presentation and panel discussion of how to implement a reusable solution, including how to align the resources and key personnel critical to building a successful reusable solution.
Session One, Part B (11:30 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.) will focus on better understanding the financial structure and decisions which must be made at this phase of implementing a successful reusable packaging strategy. Presenters for Session One will include Bob Klimko, ORBIS Corporation; Drew Merrill, Container and Pooling Solutions (CAPS); Andy DeWitt, TOSCA; and panelists from end user companies that have adopted reusable solutions.
Session Two
Managing and Protecting your Reusable Packaging Assets
