Full Service Freight and Logistics Provider Becomes RPA’s Newest Member

Arlington, VA  February 23

Jerry Welcome, President of the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA), announced today that Fitzmark, Inc., has become the association’s first-ever freight and logistics member company.  “We welcome the involvement of this freight and logistics company to the association.  I believe Fitzmark will add a lot of depth and expertise in the area of freight and logistics management which are both key issues areas for the reusable marketplace and the RPA,” he said.

Fitzmark, Inc is primarily a freight and logistics manager administering freight needs for a number of industries. One area of specialty is working with companies who own a fleet of returnable assets. Another focus area is on consolidation of LTL freight into large partials, to create freight cost savings for our customers and allow them to move their container assets or general smaller freight quantities at lower prices than traditional LTL modes. Fitzmark is also the sole sales agent for a unique shipping container, the SmartVault and PharmaValult, which is a returnable shipping solution, unique to the industry verticals, designed specifically to ship high volume goods that are subject to tampering, theft and or damage; the vault eliminates many of these risks.

Chris Sapyta, Director, will serve as Fitzmark’s Executive Representative to the RPA.  Mr. Sapyta has significant experience with regard to starting and implementing pooled assets companies and managing container fleets.  He is also well versed in RFID and barcode tracking technologies, software and hardware requirements.  Scott Fitzgerald, President, of Fitzmark will serve as the Alternate Representative to the organization.
