Jon Kalin of Rehrig Pacific was recognized for his many contributions to the RPA during his tenure as Chairman of the Board in 2010. He was recognized during the RPA’s Board of Directors Meeting on Oct. 26
RPA Board Chairman Drew Merrill (CAPS) outlined the many significant accomplishments achieved under Jon’s leadership including:
• Addition of five new RPA members and creation of a strategy to grow membership in the future
• Creation of first-ever RPA Reusable Packaging Pavilion Program with 13 RPA member exhibitors participating in PACK EXPO Chicago 2010
• Establishment of the RPA Asset Loss Committee to address issue of product loss
• Completion of the first phase of the RPA Reusable Packaging Curriculum
Also under Jon’s leadership, the RPA launched its new website and created the first-ever RPA Resource Guild which was distributed at PACK EXPO in Chicago. Kalin served as Immediate Past Chairman in 2011.
