reLogistics Services is donating reusable boxes to the Houston Food Bank, a non-profit organization that is a source of food for hunger relief charities in 18 southeast Texas counties and serves 137,000 people each week. Houston Food Bank distributes fresh produce, meat and nonperishable foods from its new warehouse at 535 Portwall, and also prepares and distributes hot meals from Keegan Center, its 15,000 square-foot industrial kitchen.

The deadline to enter to win the Reusable Packaging Association’s Excellence in Reusable Packaging Award is approaching. The deadline for all submissions is Aug. 21. The award is designed to recognize companies that have developed, supported, or implemented measurable and innovative reusable solutions in a business-to-business supply chain. Anyone can enter a submission; entrants do not need to be a member of the RPA. Submissions will be reviewed by an independent committee of judges who are not members of the RPA.
