ORBIS Corporation, the leader in sustainable reusable packaging, partnered with Nissan North America to standardize Nissan’s reusable packaging system. Recently, the companies accepted the Environmental Awareness Award at the 2012 Automotive Supply Chain Global Awards for their partnership and efforts related to reusable packaging.Winners are selected from organizations or companies which have done the most to reduce the impact of pollution on the environment.

RPA interviews Brian Martin, VP of Remcon Plastics and one of the new members joining RPA in 2012. Before joining Remcon Plastics, Brian Martin worked 14 years in the steel industry with Nucor Steel and Handy & Harman in a variety of positions. Prior to that, he worked for three years with CertainTeed Corporation.

On Tuesday afternoon at PACKEXPO, the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA) presented its Fundamentals of Reusable Packaging Workshop to a group of about 70 end users and members.
